Every now and then the holy collabo comes along. Supreme x Nike SB Dunks, then Supreme x Nike SB Trainers (and jacket that came along with it), and yesterday Supreme x Nike SB Bruins. Any Supreme x Nike project is usually hyped beyond belief, the lines are insane and that’s because both companies have done more for the lifestyle than any of their competitors.

Needless to say, the kids waited for 24 hours in front of the store to get a piece of it.

Julian and I went zombie hunting last night… and I became some kind of unethical dickshooter…

Ok, so I’ll come right out. Supreme is my second favorite brand that’s out there. They’ve got a great sense of humor in their marketing, solid quality on their tees and other apparel, and always great accessories. But no skatebrand should be without fantastic skateboards, right? That’s like Nike stopping to make shoes… Or Tom Ford without suits…

So every season Supreme collaborates with artists for limited edition Skatedecks. From not to well known artists like Marilyn Minter, to big names like Jeff Koons or Takashi Murakami, to photographers like Larry Clark.

Today, they launched a series of 3 decks designed by the Art Worlds Superstar and Bad-Boy Damien Hirst. Crowned “The most expensive living artist“, this might be the biggest collaboration supreme has released so far.

 I’m interested in seeing where they will go after this.

As many of you know, I box. I recently had the pleasure chance to spar with K-1 fighter Imani Lee. His nickname is “The Juggernaut“. If you find yourself in a ring with this guy, you’ll understand why. He is ruthless but outside of the ring one of the nicest guys I’ve met. I want to shoot Imani again sometime, maybe outside of a fight setting, because it just constantly makes me aware how much more i need to train to even have a bit of a chance.
